Focus Today is CCTV4’s daily news programme covering current affairs in China and neighbouring countries. The title sequence brief was to avoid the use of much-seen globe imagery while giving the programme a unique, modern look and feel. We designed a unique graphic landscape for a glass lens to investigate. We also collaborated with Lightwell in the UK on the show’s virtual set design using digital backdrop screens.
