CCTV4 is the Chinese International channel of China’s national broadcaster CCTV. Following on from our multi award-winning red-on-red rebrand in 2016, we looked to create a more experimental and abstract onscreen identity for CCTV4 to appeal to its diverse audiences across Asia, Europe and the Americas. Some of these transformative idents are strongly based on key elements of Chinese culture whilst others are more abstract and universal.
